Okay, in case you hadn't noticed, I've been doing a LOT of advertising lately - to the tune of $200.00 a day. Now I'm going to need to hold off a little bit until I see some signups come on their own. Or, if YOU could help by spreading the word about this place, I would really appreciate it.

Post links at social network sites like MySpace and FaceBook. Add links to your signature on Hyundai forums. Remember, this is not a direct competitor to ANY Hyundai forum. This is a social network.

Any advice on how to keep the new members coming? Please let me know.

Thank you!

Getting new members aren't easy, I know this for my 3 newest sites never gets new members unless I invite them manually. I used bunch of Website promoting programs on the net, but that didn't help either, for none of them seems to attract any guests. Also, since this site focuses on Hyundai, the make that not many people like, it won't be that easy. I can try to help out by putting you as affilate on my 4 sites(3 new(1 deals with Pontiac, 1 deals with all things cars, and 1 deals with video games, 1 old site(deals with Mortal Kombat) that has actually few regulars who visits there, but they actally don't seem to be interested nor care, in clicking on the affilate buttons) if you give me permission. I can make the buttons and put this site as an affilate on my sites. But, based on my experiences, it is easier to INVITE people manually, which was what I did with my oldest site(Mortal Kombat related) that has around 170 members, though there are only about 4 or 5 people including myself who actually visits regularly.

Also, I think this site needs a lot more forums to post on. Forums such as troubles and answers, general discussion forums, and so and so, will help dress up the site. I am no expert, but based upon my experience, people won't really register if they find the site pretty much empty and not much topics to post on. I know this is a new site, and I do see a lot of potential but....

If you want to see what my sites look like, or to get an idea of what kind of forums you may want, here are the urls for my 4 sites.

-My oldest site:(called Mortal Kombat Info Highway), the registration actually has to be confirmed by E-mail in order to complete the sign up , for we have had some bots attacking us with porns and stuff, so we had to do something, for this site.

-General Car based site: (called Car Discussion HQ)

http://z4.invisionfree.com/CarsDiscussion_HQ/index.php?

-Die Hard Pontiac Fan: (just opened a few days ago)

http://z3.invisionfree.com/PontiacFan/index.php?

-Video Game Site: (Still un-named)

http://z3.invisionfree.com/Vidgames/index.php?

I know none of them are any good, but I and my partner(by the name of zirtoc) have put in a lot of efforts on them(esp. the Mortal Kombat one) and it has a lot of features, so you may want to review them to get a basic idea of what kind of forum you would want to add to really bring some fresh new bodies into this community.

Just a suggestion.
